As a leader, at the level of leadership in which I operate, I am particularly aware at how important integrity, character, and consistency are. Honestly, I get disgusted with the fickle nature of so much of leadership with our government and nation.
Comfort is a wonderful thing but it can be a hindrance of destiny. Allow me to digress. Comfort can become "casual" all too quickly which leads to a passive spirit. Comfort zones in your spirit life, which is the most important aspect of life -too much of the time- lead to what I'll call ... At ease disease....As a leader I see so many comfortable with their inconsistencies, but God is not winking at, ignoring, or making light of attitudes of comfortable neglect.
One of the things I like most about this particular blog is that it allows me to speak my heart along with my view. I don't normally mix my opinion with my preaching because although my opinion is valuable to me, it is not the final authority. The Word of God is the final authority. However, this is my perspective; so let's talk.
In the process of life and in the process of Kingdom living there are temptations, tests and trials to overcome. Temptations coming from satanic influences, tests coming from God in our developmental process on the road to maturity, and then there are trials...
When you begin to look at life, how precious that it is and how valuable, it begins to stretch your thinking and hopefully your view. In Genesis, God declared that His Spirit will not always strive with man and for many reasons, God shortened man’s life span on earth to 120 years.
In the book of 1 Samuel the Bible talks about the relationship between a man named David, and Jonathan. It was a covenant relationship. These two men genuinely loved and respected one another.
Of the many gifts which God has provided for us on this earth, prayer is certainly among the top of those gifts especially in the life of a Christ follower. There are so many ways we can pray...
I love this guy and his ministry. He really excudes a standard of excellence that radiates.
