As a leader, at the level of leadership in which I operate, I am particularly aware at how important integrity, character, and consistency are. Honestly, I get disgusted with the fickle nature of so much of leadership with our government and nation. It is way more than about a “party” – my side, your side. It’s about what’s right. Every leader has visions and plans that sometimes get hindered or delayed. I understand this but when you receive a platform and you totally twist and change from everything you said you stood for and would do either because of lying or pressure, that’s a totally different story. II Chronicles 7:14 tells us from the heart of God: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
We need to pray for an awakening….
1) in the hearts of the church for change
2) for a repentant spirit for acceptance of what’s wrong and can never be right - a turn from sin to righteousness
3) for leaders to realize the responsibility they have for honor of the purpose of their position.
I understand that the higher you go on the ladder the more people see your rear end. “But”, that’s part of the price you pay for the platform of leadership. God will help us, God will turn things, and God will heal things and anoint us to accomplish recovery, restoration, and discovery of new life within our nation if we will turn our hearts to truth.
This is more than my opinion; I believe that’s just the way it is. Let’s pray for awakening and stand for nothing less. That’s my perspective and I’m sticking to it.
I love this guy and his ministry. He really excudes a standard of excellence that radiates.
